Long thread ahead! I've been wanting to write this for so long, but never did it because I felt its too cheesy. I decided to write it today because after I saw #shinetogether

I had been an irregular K-drama watcher and in late 2019, I got to know K-pop is a big thing, but as a person who has not even listened to English pops well, I thought I wouldn't like it (yes, old me was dumb, I dont claim her)
One day, I watched Signal and was impressed by #chani, watched Sky castle for him, impressed by kim hye-yoon so I watched Extraordinary for you for her and discovered the talent powerhouse #ROWOON . I was surprised when I realised he's an idol singer & #chani &him were in #SF9
So, i listened to a few of their songs and I liked them as a group, and watched a few other variety shows. It was very new to me, because I've never seen celebrities being that goofy on camera, but I loved every bit of those contents. This happened in January last week 2020
And man, how much I regret not knowing them atleast a week earlier, I would have been a part of the fandom when the historical moment of first win happened, I regret not knowing them since 2016, but I understand my past self because 2016 and 2017 were the busiest years of my life
And with them, i got into #BTS as well, and since then, my evryday starts and ends with these happy pills. First I used to be narrow-minded that #SF9 is the superior group and all others are over-hyped, but as i got to know more grps and how sepgu respects other idols, I +

understood k-pop as a whole is a talent powerhouse. Following kpop has really changed me as a better person, I no longer judge people. It has made me appreciate and understand other cultures better, appreciate humans as such and myself
