Keira now talking on Radio 4. Went to GP and referred to Tavistock when she was 16. Worked by ‘affirmation model’. Her claims of being male were immediately affirmed. No investigation.
Saw them in January and by October was on puberty blockers. Bone density decreased. It was a bad time.
Tavistock won’t comment because of court case. This puts you on a path that changes your life for ever. Allow children to grow naturally and prevent unnecessary harm.
Paul Conrathe - this is about informed consent, to an experimental treatment that has life long consequences. Current evidence base does not support Tavistock as safe practice.
Also representing mother of 16 year old autistic daughter - very concerned her daughter will get same treatment.
Keira wants to stop minors being given experimental treatment and raise awareness. More research needed into gender dysphoria and more robust mental health treatment.

Emailed the Administrative Court again for remote hearing link. This is also a test of how well our justice system will work regarding transparency. This really ought to be lived streamed.
