Which global technology (and other) trends are going to affecting marketing and marketers the most over the next 5 years?

My take:
1. The continuing rise of ML/AI

AI becomes increasingly useful as data becomes more accurate and available. A growing need for AI citizens and citizen developers to facilitate adoption.
2. More and more data. The major challenge today, and for the next ten years, is making sense of it all.

3. Breaking down silos and democratizing data is gonna get even more critical. Need for a single source of truth to measure, baseline, and optimize the revenue engine.
4. Predictive analytics for everyone.

5. The rise of machine learning as a service - mainly predictive analysis, NLP, and data visualization.

6. Emergence of RevOps - marketing, sales, and customer success operating across the full funnel to drive growth.
7. Privacy issues keep growing.

As 3rd party cookies get blocked etc, marketers need to work with their own first-party data for actionable insights.

Marketers still need to understand their customer behavior and personalize communication with them.
8. Shortage of developers still an issue.

87% of organizations are struggling to fill tech jobs now, not gonna see much easing of the problem...

.. which leads to
9. No Code is coming and there is no stopping it.

Growing pains yes (people will realize no code doesn't mean non-technical), but it's gonna be massive.

It's gonna dramatically change everything, and we're gonna laugh at how we used to do things.

Marketers will deploy a lot.
In general: marketers will need to become more technical, learn to work with ML/AI/predictive analytics/no code.

Agree? Disagree?
