Few days ago my old friend @Fattcheeked tweeted about how he does not feel the connection with the current squad.

So yesterday as the Transfer Deadline drama unfolded, it revealed a few more things. It brought to fore the anxiety, anguish, desperation about the current squad.>>

Gooners worldover felt the anxiousness and the deep desire to improve the squad. You can argue how much one player will improve the squad, but you can't argue the desire for us of the tribal world to boost our army. We want to fight better, we want to win more.

Yesterday's anguish and anxiety will make the bond stronger as all suffering does to make the belief in any myth stronger. Next time there is an unjust red, or a last min goal which makes us drop points, or a player injury, it will add add to the suffering and the bond >>

... will be stronger. We will feel more, and perhaps that connection would come back. I am sure we are close to that feeling again given Arteta's tenacity and improvement on overall quality slowly. We'll be back. Its just a matter of time.
