Started playing Greedfall, and some early impressions.

- World is super interesting.
- Voice acting is quite good so far.
- Character progression is very simple, but the choices can change gameplay quite a lot.
- RPing is a big deal.

I'm having a lot of fun with it.
Something people will notice easily is that the lip-syncing is way off. It bothered me at first but I started just not looking at the character's mouths during conversations and it's fine.
Also something that I found interesting is the game's graphics feel "simple" if that makes any sense. Like, it's not a Witcher 3 or anything.

But I think that feeds the game's aesthetic very well, which is a weird thing to say.
Constantin is such a fucking dweeb.
I wasn't expecting this when I went in, but this game is almost entirely about various forms of bigotry and colonialism, at least for the first 6 hours.

I was very not expecting that, but still thoroughly enjoying it so far.
Holy shit I legit want to merc every NPC I encounter from Thélème jfc they are all either bigots or apologists
OK Petrus is actually kinda cool.

Fucking merc the rest of them though JFC.
I want to amend this to include the entire Bridge Alliance. Except Aphra she's ok, if a bit stubborn sometimes.
I honestly think that's part of the entire point of the game.
Still think that's the entire point of the game.

Constantin is still a dweeb.

Siora is the best though.
And we're done!

I'm curious how many permutations there are of the ending. It's quite interesting.

The title of the game is also kinda direct.

It's definitely worth playing at least once.
Also, Spiders intrigued me so I took a look into them.

Turns out they're a French studio, and a number of their C-level execs are women which is pretty cool.

I'd never heard of them before, but I'll definitely be paying attention to them in the future.
Overall there are a few eccentricities about the game that I've mentioned in this thread. Primarily you will want to play this game for the story and writing which are both quite good.

For sure recommend playing it.
