Katsuki fought against the heaviness of his eyes as he signed the last legal document to put the past week officially behind him.

It had been a long, lonely mission and he wanted nothing more than to peel out of his hero uniform and collapse into his pillow.
"Thank fuck," he muttered to himself, shoving all of the paperwork into a manilla folder and practically throwing it in the mail slot for the government hag to pick up tomorrow.
The train ride home was only five minutes, but to Katsuki it felt like five hours. It took everything he had not to tip his head back against the glass and fall asleep, distracting himself by checking his phone.
*Mochi Ass*
Are you home yet?

Katsuki huffed, hating the way his heart squeezed everytime she referred to their shared apartment as 'home'. They were roommates. She didn't mean anything by it, no matter how much he wanted her to.
He ignored her question; she'd asked hours ago, and he'd been too busy and eager to be in his own bed that he'd neglected answering his phone, but he figured walking through their front door would be answer enough to her question.
When he /finally/ turned the key to their apartment, he knew something was off before he could even kick off his shoes.

"Cheeks?" he called into the depths of the apartment. The lights were out, but the smell of omega, of Ochako, was heavy around him.
A meep came from down the hallway, and a flustered Ochako ran from /his/ room to meet him at the entryway.

"The fuck?" Katsuki grumbled sleepily, the anxious scent of her warring with the pleased scent that clung to every surface of their apartment.
"Katsukiii-kun," Ochako whined almost apologetically. "You were supposed to tell me when you were getting back. I didn't have time to—I was going to—"

"Spit it out," he encouraged, a little haggard and grumpier than what he meant. But shit, he needed to get to his fucking bed.
"This is so embarrassing," she muttered, chewing on her bottom lip.

Katsuki growled, shoving past her towards his bedroom.

"No!" she screeched, throwing her arms around one of his to stop him in his tracks. Katsuki blinked down at her, his patience running thin.
"Cheeks, it's been a week. It's past fucking midnight, and if it had been my choice I would have been in bed five hours ago. So get the fuck off me, and let me sleep."

Ochako pressed her head into his triceps, shaking it side to side 'no'.

"Let me explain," she said.
"Then fucking explain alread—!"

"I went into a nesting frenzy while you were gone!"

Katsuki's heart dropped if only because he was disappointed he'd missed it.

"Well, shit. So what?"

Ochako peered up at him, cheeks red as his eyes.
"I was out of it. Possessed. My omega had my brain by the nuts—"

Fuck, his language was really starting to rub off on her.

"—I kinda... missed."

"What the hell do you mean by that?"

She bit her lip again, but before Katsuki could blow up in a fit of sleepy rage, she spoke.
"I made my nest...in your room."

Katsuki's froze, eyes widening as his brain slipped on a fucking banana peel.

"I was gonna clean it all up!" she insisted urgently, hugging his arm close to her. "I thought because you didn't respond to my text that you were gone another day!"
She let go of him, opting instead to cover her burning face with her hands.

"I'm so sorry! That's a huge invasion of your space, isn't it? I-I fucked up, didn't I?"

"Shut it," he grumbled, feeling light.
He shuffled forward to his room, the scent of lavendar intensifying with every step. Ochako followed behind him anxiously.

She'd made a nest in his room. She'd made /her/ nest in /his/ fucking room.

Katsuki wasn't an idiot. He knew exactly what this shit meant to omegas.
Making a nest in an Alpha's den meant one thing.

He wrenched the door open, eyes locking onto his bed with a thundering heart.

"Fuck," he murmured in awe, amazed at how /cozy/ it looked. He'd made fun of her plenty of times for the ridiculous amount of blankets she owned,
but he vowed now never to tease her about it again.

"I can take it down right away," she said, scurrying forward.

Katsuki threw his arm out, stopping her in her tracks as she collided into him with an 'oof'.

"Don't," he growled, ten seconds away from /purring/ in delight.
He stepped forward, gliding a hand down the edge of the nest in wonder.

"Why did you make this nest, Ochako?" Katsuki rumbled, taking in the scent of /her/ that permeated strongly from the nest in his den.

"I /told/ you. My omega did it."
"Uh huh. So why did your omega make it then?"

Ochako scoffed, blushing even harder.

"Look," she sassed with a touch of insecurity, reaching for the blankets again, "I'll take it away. Like it never happened."

Katsuki was there in an instant, grabbing her wrist to stop her.
"Building a nest in an Alpha's den?" Katsuki pressed, inching closer to her with a smirk on his face. "That's a claim, Ochako. /No/ take backs."

Ochako's onyx eyes burned into him, softening as she read the honesty in his own eyes.
"It's... really comfy."

"Yeah?" His breath ghosted across her lips.

She nodded, stepping closer to him and wrapping her strong arms around his chest. "Warm too. Almost perfect."

Katsuki didn't bother to ask. He already knew what it had been missing.
He walked her forward until the back of her knees hit the edge of the nest; he fell down with her, careful not to crush her with his weight.

"K-Katsuki?" she squeaked as he claimed her chest as his pillow.

"Sleep," he told her.

"But—"

"/Sleep/."
Ochako shut her mouth, petting her fingers through his hair rhythmically. He couldn't have stopped the full blown Alphan purr that erupted from him even if he'd wanted to.

Katsuki never fell asleep so quickly.
