Hey, if wearing a stylized nurse outfit in a music video is considered fetishizing nurses, shouldn't it mean that wearing stylized school uniforms would be fetishizing students?
I mean come on, who wears sleeveless blazers, mini skirts and high boots in school?

speaking about nurses, didn't GG turn surgeons in Mr Mr? Their costumes are hyper feminine and "pretty" impractical for surgery. I'd say even more outrageous than Jennie's nurse outfit in LSG.
I didn't hear surgeons complain about these outfits in 2014.

Nurses again!
Who can forget Lucky One MV, where Exo is trapped in a science lab? Well the nurses/scientists were not the main characters unlike GG or Jennie, we have to consider their outfits, red face shields, sleeveless white mini dresses, red tights and high heels.

Haute couture-ish and very impractical again. But we saw no one bat an eyelid, not especially science labs complaining about the costumes making light of their work attire.
Aight here's also Hwasa's hospital look in Maria.
We saw so many fans praise the symbolisms in the song, calling it deep and real. True. It is a brilliant song, and the symbolisms are very real.

But if this indeed IS a mental facility she's recreating, shouldn't her straitjacket be more practical? I mean, with the logic netz are applying, this is making light of the patients who actually are required to wear the jackets.
although Growl wasn't based in a school setting, the outfits were clearly school uniforms. Be honest: which schools allow sleeveless blazers, shorts over tights and all those wild hair colors?
Yet no complaints rose, because EXO delivered a solid anthem and lots of style to boot.

Now, HELLOVENUS got an instant hit with Sticky Sticky, enough to spawn a school girl version. But where sexualization was actually blatant, they got away with it. Why didn't people speak out over this? How do you explain this being let off the hook?
These are just a handful of them. I'd like to add that i'm a fan of all the groups and artists i just mentioned in this thread. What grinds my gears is that people choose to be opportunists and join the hate bandwagon
I also hate it when people choose to be two faced and praise one and bash another for exactly the same thing, or sweep actually controversial stuff under the carpet. People are attacking Jennie for the costume, when others did it before and got praises or just got ignored.
