Long Thread Alert!!!🙈
Recently NASA's Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) has spotted a mysterious glow of high-energy X-rays into the heart of the Milky Way galaxy that, according to scientists, could be the "howls"of dead stars as they feed on stellar companions!!✨
So,What is a Galaxy now?🤔
A Galaxy is a vast system of billions of STARS,which contains a large number of gas clouds(mainly Hydrogen) and dust, isolated in space from similar systems. There are about 100 billion galaxies in the universe😲containing 10^22 stars within them✨
Out of all Galaxies, the MILKY WAY Galaxy(aka AkashGanga)is the home of Our Solar http://System.It  is Spiral in http://shape.It  was frmed 5 billion yrs aftr the BIG BANG💥(An explosion that occurred 15 billion yrs ago, leading to the formation of all Cosmic bodies)✨
The cnter of our MW glaxy is bustling with young & old stars, smaller blck holes & other varieties of stellar corpses all swarming around a supermassive blck hole called Sagittarius A*[A black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity is so strng that nothing can escape from it]
Now,Coming to STARS,
Stars are clumps of dust & hot burning gases in a nebula(starwomb)whch come together due to gravity. These stars, due to nuclear reaction of gases in the core of the star, emit light of their own tht provides enough enrgy to make them shine brightly for many yrs
So,Just like any mortal creature, STARS have their own cycle of birth and death😲(But with swag🤭🤘)The exact lifetime of a star depends very much on its size. Very large, massive stars burn their fuel much faster than smaller stars and may only last a few hundred thousand years✨
Eventually, however, the hydrogen fuel that powers the nuclear reactions within stars will begin to run out,and they will enter the final phases of their lifetime.Over time, they will expand, cool & chng colour to become RED GIANTS😳This procedure depends on the mass of the star.✨🙃
Small stars, like the SUN,🌞will undergo a relatively peaceful and beautiful death🌼😌..
that sees them pass through a planetary nebula phase to become a "WHITE DWARF",
which eventually cools down over time and stops glowing to become a so-called...
"BLACK DWARF".🌞✨💫🙃💗
Massive stars, on the other hand, will experience a most energetic and violent end,🙈😲🌟 which will see their remains scattered about the cosmos in a enormous explosion,💥 called a...
"SUPERNOVA".✨💗
Once the dust clears, the only thing remaining will be a very dense star known as a
"NEUTRON STAR"🌟
these can often be rapidly spinning and are known as..
"PULSARS"(PULSATING STARS)
If the star which explodes is especially large, it can even form a BLACK HOLE.🙈
So,in all this process stars emit huge amount of rays due to their inner nuclear reactions!!NuSTAR, launched into space in 2012,is the first telescope capable of capturing crisp images of this frenzied region in high-energy X-rays(A penetrating form of high-energy EM radiation)💥
This was my 1st attempt regarding a Cosmic Thread!🙈
I am #Sushanting basically..
Dedicating this to @itsSSR 💗✨
