Today sucks. I hate it here. There's absolutely no need for all of these delays. I get it if they need more time, but that doesn't warrant pushing the movies back so far. For example, we've already had to deal with multiple delays for The Batman. This is just too much
I hate how studios and general audiences' hesitation to commit to fully reopening theaters with big new films is causing this mess. Not only are most theaters in serious danger of shutting down permanently, fans are being forced to wait even longer for these movies
This virus isn't going to magically go away next year or the year after. That's not how these things work. We've been dealing with it for over six months and there's no end in sight. Are we just going to keep delaying movies forever?
If things don't change soon, film will essentially die, livelihoods will be ruined beyond repair, and mental health issues as well as other domestic problems will skyrocket even further than they already have this year. Hardly anyone seems to notice or care
We need to stop living in fear, follow the numbers and science, and find a way to move forward towards a relative normal.

Rant over. If you can't tell, this has really bothered me recently. With even more delays I'm starting to reach a breaking point
I hope people open their eyes and realize how bad of a direction we're heading in before it's too late. My position shouldn't be too controversial, so hopefully it doesn't start a huge argument. The last thing we need right now is more negativity
My DMs are always open if you want to peacefully talk about this in more detail
