Hey, I& #39;m 28.
This is 28 lessons I& #39;ve learnt in 28 years

This is 28 lessons I& #39;ve learnt in 28 years
1. Don& #39;t react on emotions.
Whenever you have to decide something, let some time pass, sleep on it and make the decision later.
This will give you more perspective and ideas. Emotions will blur your decisions.

2. Travel with friends to deepen your relationship.
Relationships are deepen whenever we go through adventures and experiences together.
Use this to your advantage by going on trips with your best friends.

3. Travel solo to know yourself better.
Spending time in solitude encourages you to be OK with your own self.
Pay attention to your self talk, learn from it.
Be open to what your body wants. Go where your mind tells you.
Get lost and find the way out.

4. Travel with your loved one to build a solid relationship.
Once you& #39;ve done your solo travels, share the next ones with your loved one.
This will not only bring you closer to each other, but will encourage you to work as a team.
Travelling is challenging. Solve it together.

5. You are what you eat.
- Sugar is the plague. Don& #39;t eat it.
- If it& #39;s green, it& #39;s good.
- There& #39;s no such thing as too much protein.
- If your diet has a name, it& #39;s not sustainable.
- It& #39;s ok to have cheat meals. It& #39;s not okay to be a cheater.

6. Learn languages to broaden your mind.
When we speak in different languages we think differently.
The more languages we speak, the more different approaches we can have to the same topic.
And the more different the languages, the better.

7. Live abroad to be resourceful.
Better if the country you go to doesn& #39;t speak your language.
This will grow:
- Your acceptance for uncertainty.
- Your resourcefulness in difficult situations
- Your self-esteem

8. Be grateful.
Don& #39;t take anything that you have for granted.
- I was born in Spain. Extremely lucky for that.
- I have supportive parents. Not everybody has that
- I speak more than one language. Super grateful
- I have a home. WOW
Write sth you& #39;re grateful for every morning

9. Cherish your parents
They& #39;ve gone through a lot to bring you were you are right now.
Tell them you love them. It& #39;s the least we can do for them.
I wish I say that more often...

10. Routines give you freedom.
Sounds counterintuitive, but having routines free you from thinking what to do everyday.
Routines transform into habits, and some habits can stack into a series of habits. (working out -> eating healthy)
Start small. Let it grow from there.

11. The two day rule.
Going to the gym?
Never skip the gym two days in a row.
One day missed? It& #39;s fine
Two days? You& #39;re going in a downward spiral.
Test this. @mattdavella backs it up. And he has great biceps.

12. Tracking fosters improvement.
Whatever doesn& #39;t get tracked doesn& #39;t get improved.
Track how long it takes you to poo in the morning.
To cook in the afternoon.
To workout in the evening.
See where you& #39;re fucking up and gain back your time.
Same for your biz, but with $

13. Focus on what the other person really wants.
We all have hidden motifs.
Understand the other& #39;s.
Just by talking in terms of what he/she really wants, you will get what you want.
Always look for win-win.
Win-lose will make you broke.

14. Cherish the good in others.
People grow when their good actions are encouraged, not when their bad actions are despised.
Focus on the good, and reap the benefits later.

15. Stay curious.
Learning doesn& #39;t finish when you finish college.
Learning finishes when you die.
Stay curious. Read opposing viewpoints. Argue with people.
Try to find the truth instead of trying to be right.

16. As long as you& #39;re on the right path, everything& #39;s alright. There& #39;s no destination.
Your only chore is to keep being in that path.
Everything takes time.

Everything takes time.
17. There& #39;s no lack of time, but bad allocation of it.
Next time you catch yourself saying "I don& #39;t have time" remember that @elonmusk has the same 24h than you have.
And he& #39;s fucking building rockets.
He just knows how to allocate his time better than us.

18. Having your priorities clear will save you time
This will save you mental effort and time.
Trading time for money? Not my priority
Getting wasted? Not my priority
Gossiping? Not my priority
Drugs? Not my priority
So I don& #39;t waste effort nor time in those

19. Music can transport you to other countries
Living in China for almost 3 years taught me this.
Listening to salsa music in a country where all you hear is 你好,你老外很好看 helped me immensely to feel more home.

20. If we don& #39;t get hugged for long, we miss it more than breathing.
I had multiple long-distance relationships and this is the main thing I& #39;ve learnt.
I missed hugging someone more than anything. More than sex. More than watching movies with company.
Be grateful if you hug.

21. You are not your job.
You are you. And you do certain job.
Label people for their ideas, not for what they do.
You can change profession 9 times in your life, but you& #39;re still you.

22. News are bad for you.
Remember they& #39;re just businesses trying to get your attention
And what gets more attention? Fear
Look at news at what they really are
You don& #39;t NEED to be informed about what& #39;s going on constantly
What& #39;s worth knowing, you& #39;ll know regardless of news

23. The longer you stay away from sugar the less you crave it.
In the beginning it sucks
But then you& #39;ll thank yourself for committing to it
We all know sugar is addictive, yet we keep consuming it
But once you break the addiction, you& #39;ll start to despise it
It& #39;s easier then

24. Believe in abundance rather than in scarcity
- Lost your job? There& #39;s millions waiting for u
- Your girl dumped you? Half the population is female
- Went broke? Online businesses don& #39;t require money to start
There& #39;s so much opportunity. Just need to allow yourself to see it

25. Listen to yourself
Sometimes you& #39;re in a party and don& #39;t wanna talk to people. Then don& #39;t.
There& #39;s noone better than yourself to listen to your inner voice.
And normally, he& #39;s always right.
You just have to listen closely...

26. Healthy relationships exist.
One plus one can be eleven.
They& #39;re hard to find, but they exist.
Get away from statements such as "All men suck", "Women are just after the money", because they& #39;ll become true for you.
And you& #39;ll end up attracting that.

27. Teaching is the best teacher.
When you teach, you have to understand what you teach fully.
And 9 times out of 10 you& #39;ll realise you didn& #39;t quite understood it so well in the first place.
If you want to learn, then teach.

28. Build once, sell twice.
Build things that scale. Don& #39;t tie your time to your income.
The internet gave us infinite scalability.
Please.
Use.
It.
This is inspired by @jackbutcher
