Has anyone talked about how much of a privilege it is to be able to afford owning a firearm? Most of the working class can’t drop thousands of dollars on a gun. Idk, I’m just ranting.

I’m insanely grateful for all of the replies to this tweet. But there are a few things you should know. First off, I’m 19 so I can’t legally buy a handgun. Secondly, I’ve never shot a gun in my life, so training would absolutely be required.

Ok. I didn’t know I would have to say this so much but, this tweet is intentionally hyperbolic. It’s meant to start a conversation about the fact that people who might need to arm themselves the most can’t afford to.
