I feel I should talk more about sex on my thread.

Purity culture caused such damage to so many of us, let’s just normalise talking about sex.

Obviously not disclosing anything inappropriate - just talking about sex & physical intimacy & desire without shame.

And remembering sex should be fun and it’s healthy to desire sexual intimacy.

The divine made us with sexual desire & it wasn’t just for procreation it was to have fun, to have connection.

Healthy sexual pleasure & intimacy with another is a divine thing.

I say this all as a 43 year old yet to have sexual intimacy with a partner, and unlearning purity culture as part of therapy.

(One of my future books could well be on sex / escaping purity culture).

I would love to have sexual intimacy with a partner I love & trust. No shame.
