I’m out for 2- more weeks.
When I returned from Cleveland last Wednesday after covering the Presidential debate, my voice was a bit hoarse. Because I was scheduled to visit my 87 year old mom in Florida this past weekend, Sheree encouraged me to get a Covid test. @WLWT

Boy.. I’m glad she did. I tested positive. My symptoms were mild.. I consider myself lucky.. because I know how many others have not had such an easy time… Especially those who are elderly or have underlying conditions.

I am staying away from others.. including family… Hanging out in the basement to protect everybody.. Sheree tested negative.
CDC guidelines clear me to be around people again as of this Friday, but Sheree and I will not step foot inside WLWT until Mon. Oct 19

Sheree and I work for a great company (Hearst).. out of an abundance of caution, they want to protect our coworkers as much as possible and keep both of us out until 2 weeks from today. We may start working at home at some point soon. We promise to let you know what the plan is.
