My hypothesis: you actually *can't* climb to certain levels of mainstream success without a certain politic....

That is, America would never allow an unforgiving abolitionist that platform during their lifetime.

Id rather look systemically at politics of the mainstream "woke" voices & see patterns.

Id rather consider how often theres a big disconnect btwn grassroots organizers (of the radical tradition) & their more mainstream metonymical people

My most cynical self is also like who cares who is uplifted to the mainstream but like....

If I apply that logic to everything I'd really check the fuck out of most things
