Thoughts in my head(semi specific to OL play):
Being an elite athlete requires a standard of physical tools.
But, and maybe more importantly, it requires a standard of mental ones.

•The ability to identify threats, engage/avoid them, & put our bodies in the positions necessary to accomplish those tasks requires us to be able to make near instantaneous decisions.
•The better/faster we can do that, the stronger/more stable we can be @ point of contact. 2/

We can have an F1 racecar body, finely tuned and able to execute almost unreal maneuvers, but if the driver isn’t capable, then we might as well be a retiree on a Sunday drive.
The next ? is, how/when do we train that? That’s something I’m still trying to figure out. 3/

Do we train it before, after, or during the building of our foundational physical mvmts?
We can for sure create those scenarios in live competition, but we cant have live competition every rep, bc of bodily toll IMO.
