More ballots will be mailed in this election than ever before, which means -- a lot more contested votes. Perhaps you& #39;re nervous that your ballot will be rejected?
I spoke to a poll worker friend and here& #39;s a list of the most common ways that people fuck up their ballots. 1/x

1. You didn& #39;t sign and date EVERYWHERE prompted. That means not missing a single signature.
2. Your ballot wasn& #39;t postmarked in time. Keep in mind that it might not be postmarked on the day you put it in a mailbox.

3. Your signature doesn& #39;t match your voter registration record. (My last ballot was almost rejected during the primaries for this very reason.)
A few things: Try to do a clean version of your signature. If you& #39;ve changed your name, make sure your registration reflects that.

4. You didn& #39;t seal the envelope properly.
5. You made anything that could be an "identifying mark" on the ballot. Look out for stray pen marks and, obviously, don& #39;t write on it unless you& #39;re supposed to.
