Just to reiterate. 5 years of hustling my ass off in the field and earning a J.D. from an accredited law school just vanished due to a technical glitch and moronic digital format. @ExamSoft isn’t taking calls. The @NCBEX has put us through a living, breathing hell on Earth.
And I have nothing to show for it. We’ll be gaslighted and blamed and compared to the thousands who came before us. I’ll count my blessings but our livelihoods have been stolen and held hostage and it’s absolutely criminal. Devastated with the process and the outcome.

Cannot stop thinking about the years I spent working 6-7 days a wk, hustling to become a lawyer. And I did it because I love the work. I’m really freaking passionate about it. But all the experiences and people I gave up for those sleepless nights, years w/o TO...was it worth it?
After several years, I had saved enough and learned enough to head to law school, where I spent more years with my head down, working nonstop. Between classes I worked PT at the NYCSC and the United Nations. It was tough, but I loved it. And it was all going to pay off, right?
Like so many others, the deepest pain comes from the feeling of letting down those we love & who have supported us through this arduous journey. Their sacrifice knew no bounds. & the thing I want most in this world is to pay them back at least with my own happiness and success.
I have no wisdom to share from this experience. Like so many others right now, I’m just trying to figure out what’s next in terms of hrs. I’m fortunate and privileged to be able to physically survive until Feb. But nothing can mitigate the pain/disappointment of this experience.
