a thread on the bible's description of angels

first im gonna break yalls hearts and say, their true physical appearance is never described. it is said they have some sort of corporeal form but its never formally explained what they look like exactly. there's a difference between bodies on earth and in heaven but its never +

explained such difference. so although u can claim they might have a 100 eyes or whatever u cannot say thats biblically correct.

1 Corinthians 15:39-40

second in most cases they arent even actually seen

third when they do present themselves they do it by looking like humans around them (usually adult men although genders r genderless and sexless)

Judges 13:6,21 ; Genesis 18:1,2 ; John 20:11,12

fourth the only thing that makes them recognizable is how, in human form, they wear extremely white clothing or just bright clothing in general. but they are always described as being clothed

fifth they are able to eat like humans

sixth angels can wear other clothing and look a bit different from what i said earlier but thats not their true form either, just one they can have. and its never a lot of wings with eyes

sixth angels are said to fly but have never said to appear before humans with wings. the only angels said to have wings r seraphims and cherubims

why does the distinction betweem the two matter? now you ask. well bc angels are messengers of god and seraphims only exist to represent +

burning love for god, the only things they say r stuff related to love for god and never deliver messages like angels are supposed to.
