So last night on Grindr I got a message from a faceless profile but it had like his chest as a pic and the guy was like “Sami (my last name)? You’re Suryoyo right?” and I said no I’m not cuz I’m Chaldean and he was like no way and I said yeah bro

And the guy turned out to be this Suryoyo Syrian gay guy who was living near me (like 10-15km) and he was still in the closet and also my age :/ he wouldn’t tell me his name or send a pic and later blocked me and now I can’t stop thinking about him cuz like

imagine if I could make an arab gay friend that’s around my age and not a weirdo cuz the way he was talking was actually rlly nice and he seemed smart as well and now I’m sad about it and the body pic he had on his profile looked good

Also idk how to explain this but Suryoyo and Chaldean are the names of ethnic groups in Syria and Iraq. They’re Christian and live in the northern regions of both countries and we have lots of similarities and get along, some of my family is Suryoyo

I rlly hope he unblocks me some day and I hope he’s not scared of me trying to out him :/
