Everyone loves setting big goals, right?
We always see big dreams, aspirations and goals thrown around on Twitter
But did you know how to structure your goals to make them less about luck and more about action?

Your goals should be split into 3 separate types
Outcome Goals
Performance Goals
Process Goals

Performance Goals
Process Goals
The Outcome goal is the overall goal that you are trying to achieve
It should be specific and focus on a particular result
For example $10k per month in income

Performance goals are targets along the way that build up to your outcome goal
Again they should be specific, measurable but tied to your own performance
Don't just say "I'm going to add one new customer per day"
Say "I'm going to have 3 sales calls a day and close at 33%"

Process goals are the actions which will help you reach your performance goals
These are actions which are completely under your control with nothing left to luck
An example would be to hit a performance goal of 3 sales calls a day you need to cold call 20 prospects every day

When you structure your goals like this it adds focus and allows you to see what actions you need to take to achieve your dream
Let's look at how I'm planning on using this to grow the 'White-Label' branch of my agency
Let's look at how I'm planning on using this to grow the 'White-Label' branch of my agency
The outcome goal I would like to achieve is to get my white-label branch to $20k MRR in 2021
I've set a monthly performance goal of adding 5 new agencies to my customer list each month from at least 1 sales call per working day
It's up to me to perform at a closing rate of 25%
I've set a monthly performance goal of adding 5 new agencies to my customer list each month from at least 1 sales call per working day
It's up to me to perform at a closing rate of 25%
Now to hit the performance goals I need to make sure that my process goal results in a new sales call each working day
Say I'm going to use cold email to generate the sales calls
@blackhatwizardd says we should expect a 4% booking rate from our cold emails

That means to get 20 bookings per month (or 5 per week) we need to send out a total of 400 emails every month
Or broken down
I need to send out 20 cold emails a day and hit my performance goals to hit $20k MRR
$20k a month seems much easier when you know the daily steps, huh?

Use this to pull your goals into focus and smash them
