It& #39;s @jewellloyd& #39;s birthday so I& #39;m gonna tell this story for the 10000th time because it& #39;s so awesome.
This was her first pro game in Chicago back in 2015. There was a postgame Q&A set up where people (mostly kids) paid like $15 for entry.

It was pretty basic. There was an emcee asking Jewell the questions and they were all stuff like, "What advice would you give young players," "Are you still good at tennis," yadda yadda. It went for maybe 25-30 minutes and then the Allstate Arena ushers told everyone to leave.
A few kids sitting in the front row asked Jewell for autographs. She obliged but the ushers got really upset and again told the crowd to clear out.
Jewell said, no it& #39;s cool, can I have a chair and a sharpie so I can get these kids taken care of?

An hour later, everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - who wanted an autograph or a photo had one. Jewell stayed and chatted with every single person like she had known them her entire life - humble, gracious, and a great sense of humor.
Jewell has done something like this every season since then. She& #39;s someone who truly enjoys giving back to her community and embodies all that is awesome about the WNBA; an amazing player and a wonderful person.
Happy birthday to a real one @jewellloyd
