Crowd behind Boston federal court protesting the state’s flu vaccine mandate.
Protesters filled the yard behind the courthouse to protest the mandate. Some have face masks on, but many don’t.
Vincent Delaney prepares to speak. He told reporters earlier he plans to sue the Baker administration in federal court in the next week. “It’s never been about our health. It’s about control,” he said.
Delaney sued Baker earlier this year.

“Today, we get justice,” he says, eliciting cheers from the crowd.
“I have never put a mask on this face. I refuse to do so,” Delaney said. He said Starbucks wouldn’t let him buy a coffee this morning. Another coffee shop served him with no mask. Delaney asks the state to “end the madness.”
Congressional hopeful Rayla Campbell is here. She says she does not trust what the Mass. Teachers Union or Gov. Baker is doing regarding rights and flu shots.
She calls Baker a “phony.” She goes on to blame him for her being a write-in candidate. “I’m not going anywhere. They better wake up.”
One speaker says don’t just target Baker, but health agents and other local officials over recent mandates.
More than two hours in, remaining protesters listen as one of the speakers puts his phone against the microphone, playing the hearing regarding Vincent Delaney’s challenge to Massachusetts’ COVID-19 mask mandate.
Mark Sahady is here to hype up the “free speech scene” in Boston. Crowd is waiting for Delaney to come out.
“Super Happy Fun America, we triggered the world,” Sahady said. The group lent the protesters their sound system.
Welp, he just referred to the “plandemic” and told people to take off your “face diaper.” And he goes on to promote a Super Happy Fun America protest against Democrats.
I count three remaining protesters out of a few dozen that have a mask on, apart from reporters covering the event.
