year old brother out of school (they are doing the 'distance learning' thing). Well my mum doesn't approve of this, "It's important that children get to interact with other children of their age for healthy development!" And whereas I would normally agree with her, this

particular time in existence is just too dangerous for her. Both kids know this, they understand why, and they have both agreed that until there is an effective treatment/cure/no longer a threat, that they will remain with distance learning.

both a phone call and an email from the girl child's school and district superintendent informing me that 5 children at my daughter's school tested positive for Corona. They were all in the building, and have potentially infected everyone else in that building.

This is why I kept my kids out. This is why I will continue to keep my kids out. Their life is worth far more to me than filling school desks with their butts, or getting any countries economy back on track, or a speeding up the process of returning to 'normal'.
