Note for parents: If you child is not admitted to a college & you decide to call/email the office, think about what your ultimate end goal is. Is the goal for the student to enroll in the future? If so, talk about transfer process. Change in decision? Probably not a reality.

If you want to vent/argue, two further points. 1) if it is that important, why is the student not doing this? 2) If it is to vent, then vent in a decent manner & move on. I have had parents hold onto anger for 3 years, and it's not worth it. As Elsa sang, let it go.

P.S. And I will say, after a period of time (today's was email #3), I asked directly "What are you hoping to get out of this discussion?".
