1/6 I’m sharing with the general public internal guidelines from @ARSLab_CU. On top of the mandatory regulations from @Carleton_U, we are giving our students extra instructions. Feel free to use them and share. At this stage on the Pandemic, with the current delays in tests...
2/6 in the province of Ontario and the health system being overwhelmed, we all need to do our part.

We know that there are "superspreaders" AND it transmits through aerosols. Therefore, if you are in the same room and it’s not properly ventilated and one person is sick, ...
3/6 you can get t. Without any symptoms. We also know that:
1. Masks help. #WearAMask
2. Distance helps, but not completely #indoors, because #aerosols could fly farther away than 2 m; combination of mask and #PhysicalDistancing is the least we should do ( #socialdistance)
4/6
3. We have to think about it as accumulation of viral particles*time. We can reduce the viral particles (but how to do that?) AND/OR the time indoors.
4. Reducing time: easy; try to spend the minimum time possible with people outside your household in the same room
5/6
5. Reducing viral particles: we know that singing > talking out loud > talking > breathing. So, if you reduce conversation indoors, it reduces the amount of viral particles in the room. No singing 😭And we're in Canada. We don't shout 😁

In brief, on top of the regulations you should be aware of, try to make interactions indoors minimal; if you need to chat, which is good for #mentalhealth , do it outdoors (the air outdoors will help both with the virus and your overall happiness). #WearAMask #SocialDistancing
