biphobia from lesbians and gays can be summarised in one sentence:

"you can only experience homophobia if you're in a same-gender relationship."
by saying that bisexuals sometimes have "straight-passing privilege", like when they're single or in an m/f relationship, you're not just fucking over bisexual people, but also closeted lesbian and gay people.
lesbians and gays still experience homophobia when they're single. why would this be any different from bisexuals?
lesbians and gays most likely still experience homophobia when they're in the closet, even when they're in m/f relationships. why would this be any different from bisexuals?
experiencing homophobia or any other form of bigotry isn't just other people calling you slurs and attacking you personally. it's also people talking badly about all same-gender attracted people and simply knowing that it's about *you*.
regardless of whether it's against you personally or not, homophobia will hit a same-gender attracted person differently than a straight person, but apparently this concept is incredibly hard to understand for biphobes.
saying that bi people ever have straight-passing privilege reveals how you feel about closeted and single gay people, because they could very well be seen as straight, but they still experience homophobia.
and if you try saying anything like "but it's not the same as for bi people", you just took your mask off and admitted that you hold bisexuals to different standards and that you will never see us and our struggles as valid and real.
