#lesson5 Technology and social media gives us the illusion of freedom because whether we admit it or not, we cannot voice our opinion or support another perspective without receiving responses that can be negative or positive. More often than not, many people will demonstrate

that they disagree with you but will not agree with you because of the fear of receiving backlash. Social media allows others to track our lives and have an opinion on matters that are really none of their concern but the notion of “if you post about it, it’s our business” shows

up way too often. Social media and technology has become a part of us and our society and there is no freedom or privacy related to it. (end of thread)
