ik he doesn’t live in america,,,but twitter isn’t the only place where people are upset by slurs.

he’s saying that when you forbid people from saying slurs it gives them more power i-
only the people in which that slur affects are able to reclaim the word. it doesn’t matter how much power you think it’s gives by calling it a slur, it’s still a slur.

-(2) used by people who they don’t affect, it is always used in a demeaning manner. no matter the context or anything like that, a slur is still a slur and will always hurt people. the power the word holds isn’t gonna go away if (for example) cishet ppl can say lgbt slurs.-
