How are my DIY artists actually making MONEY? https://twitter.com/SheIsHansson/status/1313116169390391296">https://twitter.com/SheIsHans...
OBVIOUSLY we do this because we literally must, but all that aside, I wanna open this discussion - there are many things we& #39;re all doing to roll out music, create buzz, get our music playlisted or whatever - how does this translate to money in your business account? (or not)
honestly refreshing to see so many of us on the same boat. I& #39;ve done a LOT of side gigs in my time, voice coaching, composing for Film/TV.

I really appreciate all these candid responses on here, and via DM, and I want MOAR of you to weigh in - knowledge is power here! RT
What strategies are we using/how are we making money?

So far I’m seeing stuff like maintain a patreon (which is a lot of work in itself), Twitch, music licensing and sync (anyone else had success with that?), Bandcamp, merch, teaching, producing for other artists etc https://twitter.com/sheishansson/status/1313129000760422400">https://twitter.com/sheishans...
GUYZ - see below from radio presenter - are we all doing our best to establish relationships with press/radio/blogs?

Has anyone been successful in pitching their own music?
