Intl moots! I’ll be tweeting a lot abt what’s happening in indonesia rn. Govn is going to pass a law that can erase a lot of workers’ rights such as minimum wages, maternity leaves and many more-

This law will make the rich even richer and the poor even poorer. It’s quite dire so i do hope u guys can understand. Sorry if im spamming your tl but.. this is our future. They could take our rights away

My salary is under the minimum wage of my city and theyre alrd doing this with the current law. If they pass the new law it might get worse.

Foreign investors will easily come here to invest but the laborers.. are going to suffer. Not to mention there will be no regulation for working hours, they could make us work for extremely long hours if they please

My last job forced me to work from 8 am to 11pm!! With no lunch break!! And that’s under the current law!! It could get worse!!

I know some ppl are only paid for 1 million rupiah per month. That is 68 USD. PER MONTH. AND THATS WITH THE CURRENT LAW. IT COULD GET WORSE.

If anyone has more info do share it here so we can educate each other
