Even if you love your job, even if your job doesn't exist w/o you, even if you have people at work who depend on you, even if you're behind...your job is still JUST a job. It's not your life or your identity. It's not your sole purpose. Not unless you let it become those things.

The degradation of unions and workers’ rights has decimated America’s work/life balance. Capitalism should help you achieve YOUR goals, not the other way around.

Do not work yourself to death. Do not confuse productivity with power. Your power exists in your right to say, “now I rest.” That’s a right we have to FIGHT for, but it’s also a right we DESERVE.
