tonight i am: overly exasperated.
capisay, today is world teachers’ day but one of your teachers is being thoughtless who acts soundly rude and discourteous towards her students. & accdg to my former classmates, she’s always like this who casually walks out abruptly. (1/n)
decided not to post the screen-captured convo to exclude the names of some students, the discussion went this way:

student: “ma’am ano page maam answeran kag asta pila?”

teacher: “tanan nga activities dira. stop questioning.” cont...(2/n)
teacher: “indi ka ya kabalo maglantaw and magbasa?”

student: “okeyy ma’am thanks”

teacher: “may mga bagay nga indi mo dapat iask. use your common sense.”

MA’AM?! ok this is very unsettling. i am trying to understand her point but to no avail. at all. (3/n)
that’s not how teachers respond or in a way, approach her students. irl, i can cite some sources to affirm this thread that she’s actually like that. this setup of online classes is already mind-boggling and what these struggling students need is a teacher a who understands.(4/n)
of course teachers struggle too hence, being kind towards each other is the least that we could do so let’s help each other out. imagine a student being discouraged to finish his/her modular activities because of how this teacher responds? won’t ever sit well with me. (5/n)
capisay, do something. i can only imagine what the students are feeling who just want to survive the ay. this violates the friendly online-learning environment the department of education promotes. i have screenshots for proof. this has to stop. let’s promote compassion! (6/6)
