Looking for tools and tips to find the self-archiving policies of your journal? Coming up in this 🧵 to kickstart your week!

All publishers have slightly different rules. But finding the rules, quickly, is actually very easy with the following websites. #phdchat #SLPhD 1/
The first tool we recommend is the @SHERPAServices Romeo website ( https://v2.sherpa.ac.uk/romeo/ ). You enter the name of a journal or publisher to see the corresponding copyright and self-archiving policies. Yes, it’s that simple! 2/
Next up is http://ShareYourPaper.org . You enter the DOI of your article and ShareYourPaper gathers information about your paper and the easiest way to share it. 3/
And the last one for today is http://HowCanIShareIt.com . You enter the DOI of your article to see a list of how and where you can share different versions of your article. 4/
Have you tried any of these websites before? Or have any recommendations for us?

Of course, it’s also possible to go straight to your publisher’s website and look directly for their self-archiving policies. 5/5
