Let’s get this straight once and for all, ‘Overpopulation’ is a dangerous, racist rhetoric. There is more than enough room on this planet, more than enough resources to feed everyone and to give everyone a good life.Period.
Your message Sir, is fuelling right-wing anti-immigration policies. There is a rise in white-nationalist environmentalism that blames overpopulation on non-white immigrants. It is also ecofascist, which has roots in the neo-nazi movement. It is an ideology marrying environmentalism and white supremacy. In short, ecofascists believe “it is ok to murder people to save the environment”.

Sir, how can you not address capitalism? When we know that, the richest 1% cause double the CO2 emissions of the bottom 50%, and just 100companies are responsible for 71% of global emissions.

If you are white, like me. Here are the things we can do along with holding Sir Attenborough (and anyone spreading overpopulation being the problem) to account. He has a huge influence on white environmentalists, we can’t let this fly. Thank you @fulanivegan for this list.
