I feel like our generation is full of people who just pick and choose. Like the selective activism is really showing on all social media platforms. The fact that I have to personally reach out to individuals just to get some type of help is pathetic. 1/2
I fought with you when you needed me. I stood with you when you needed me. Where are you now when I need you? When my people are being threatened with another genocide and we need our voices to be heard? We see the posts that support others, but then you keep quiet with ours?
Oh but then I see some posting themselves going out to parties, having brunch with friends, etc.The soldiers fighting in Artsakh as I am typing this will likely not be able to do those things ever again. The person reading this right now probably knows of it and ceases to care.
But no, please go ahead and call yourself a supporter, an activist, someone who dates about humanity. Yet the number of non - Armenians that I have seen actually care and post about what is happening is so small that I can count those numbers on one hand.
Cares*^
At this point, I don’t care how many of you unfollow me, mute me, hate on me, or talk shit about what I post. I will NEVER stop posting about the people who I care for the most, Armenians.
I stand by my country. I always feel safe around Armenians. I cannot express this enough. These are my people. They are my FAMILY.
