This just comes down to the same old "your private kink somehow hurts people" logic coming from people too young to have learned a healthy way to address feelings of personal disgust that doesn't involve lashing out and "defeating" an ideological foe

there is no way you're ever going to "defeat" something as primordial as sexual fixation

the only thing you're ever going to do is make people (most of whom exist outside of your sphere of imaginary antagonists) feel unsafe

because it's reactionary, & reactionary behavior has never made anyone safer. it's practiced out of fear of a foe that exists only conceptually, to embody the things that YOU fear

and it's much easier to rake someone you've never met over the coals then confront your own fears
