Hey just a reminder to please DM people if theyre following someone bad instead of @ ing every single person into the callout thread. It allows for better conversation & gives more space for the person to reply in their own time
Notifications are VERY easily buried so they might not even see your @, which that ends up looking suspicious if they ignore it. Sometimes people need to post commissions etc on twitter but dont have the time to respond to something like this. A DM allows them to shoot a quick-
-"sorry, im currently working, I will respond to this after!"
Also u dont know ppls relationships w/ others, if a person is being called out thats close friends w/ another it might take a couple days to process & grieve. They might wanna be offline. It Happens
I know it can be annoying DMing more than one person but honestly like.. just please do it lol. If its an account with 3k+ followers you can probably assume someone else already brought it to their attention. It's just more respectful of the persons time & energy taking it to DMs
Or honestly. It doesnt happen much anymore since covid but I used to quickly scroll and post while waiting for drinks or w/e in between work. If I was told through DM that a friend got called out I would want to wait to respond until I sit down and can put my full attention to it
(sighs and mutes this thread) (but before i go look at Him)
