99% sure I know the answer, but just to take the temperature of the room: given my grumbling about genre semantics earlier, would folks who are into 13 Sentinels want a thread about how to get into older Japanese adventure games to learn the genre history that game draws upon?
Just FYI, I haven't forgotten about this thread and am glad folks are so interested! There's a lot of ground to cover, even when keeping stuff to the basics, but I hope the final product will make for a good starting point into a crucial part of Japanese game history. Stay tuned!
