Shoutout to the multiple misogynistic people I’ve had come into my stream in the last week - my personal faves said ‘GARBAGE, TRASHHHH, GIRLS ARE BAD AT GAMES’ alongside being told I’m ‘too pretty to play games’ and should find ‘something better to do’. Nice right?

For the record, girls CAN play video games. We CAN do it and we can absolutely crush it. If you belittle women for living out their dreams and enjoying their passions, screw you, you narrow minded and insolent trolls. Women bring SO MUCH to the video game and streaming industry.

I’m not upset by the comments that keep getting made to me, and I know they’re not going to stop. Rather, I wanted to highlight these incidents, because I know I’m not alone in this. I and all the other incredible women gamers on Twitch shouldn’t have to deal with this.

I’ll probably end up deleting this thread because I feel I lack the eloquence to do this subject justice. Women are more than just objects created for looks. Women are more than their rank on a FPS game. We are capable, we are talented, we are innovative and we are strong.
