This (we think?) dove just straight up landed on my husband’s shoulder.

We keep trying to gently release it, and the little thing keeps coming back to us.

It keeps hopping onto my shoe.

We took it onto our side porch, gave it some food and water. It’s currently snoozing on one of the boxes I use for jumps. If it’s still there tomorrow, we’ll call wildlife center.

Just checked the porch. Not there now so far as I can tell, so hoping that’s an encouraging sign.

It was on our car.

Well, the dove is back.

Landed on my husband first, then me.

It seriously just wants to hang out with us. It moseys around the leaves, then flies back to us.
