Rewatched Path of the Jedi and I have some thoughts to share, in a rare Fierro thread.
1) It’s great (in a depressing sort of way) that this episode introduces that one of Ezra’s darkest fears is Kanan dying before his eyes and being unable to intervene, which is, of course, exactly what happens in Jedi Night three seasons later. It’s all connected.
2) Even though I knew it was an illusion, Sabine’s death shriek was chilling. A very good job by @tiyasircar.
3) Hearing Yoda’s voice is always wonderful in this episode. Ever witty, ever wise. Also, amusing how Qui-Gon had to die to appear as golden orbs but Yoda (the Jedi Legend that he is) could do it while very much alive.
4) Kanan and Ezra’s shared excitement over the Kyber crystal is absolutely adorable. Love those dumbasses.
5) Kanan looks really cool while meditating.
