Bad reviews are going to happen. Not every review is going to be five stars. Do you want lies? Do you want sugar coated feedback? As an author, you have to understand that not everyone will enjoy your work. Your story is not for everyone and that's ok.
Your style is not for everyone and that's ok. The biggest names in literature have their negative reviews. I've seen so many posts from self pubs bitching and moaning about a certain review that was less than stellar.
This. Is. Part. Of. Being. A. Writer.
You know what I do with bad reviews?
Nothing.
Because I'm grown enough to know that no one's taste in writing is the same. No one enjoys the same prose or writing style or whatever it may be.
Bad reviews (constructive "bad reviews") are a huge positive to authors. We learn from them. We grow from them and see what we can do better. Is that not what all of this is about? Growing and learning with each book that we write?
So instead of trashing these reviews on Twitter and coming off as a self righteous pompous and egotistical child, try this:

Absorb it. Feel it. Embrace it.

You aren't everyone's cup of tea. You never will be. So grow up and move on. Read it and brush it off.
Because in the end, five star reviews won't help you grow as much as less than amazing review will. And plus, you're just scaring off readers and point them into the direction of writing a positive review because of fear of being the topic of your next Twitter rant.
So in closing, use the negatives and reflect on them. I know some reviews out there are utter garbage with zero constructive criticism.

But not all are. So let it go. And live. And write. And learn. And repeat.
