a) the part about him hating his fans is actually untrue, he has defended his "stans" and has an account for supporting artists
b) he doesn't support saying the r slur anymore -

- BUT he is sympathetic towards a6d, who has been explicitly ableist in the past. he tweeted that a6d is his friend and he's trying to educate him on how to be better, but i have no idea if he's being sincere, or if this is performative.

c) from what ive been able to gather, his brand of ableism isnt hating people with disabilities explicitly (see: techno, eret, and george). instead, he tends to parrot harmful ableist rhetoric and pass it off as memes or jokes, as seen in that thread.

d) everything else in the thread, though, is true. he has collabed with notch (bigoted against pretty much every minority) and has done videos on pewdiepie (while he is massively popular, he is racist and anti-semitic and idk how ppl forget that).

anyway the point of this thread is not to attack any fans of dream (he is a popular youtuber, and i didnt find out about this shit until recently), nor is it an attack on the op of that thread (they made very good points that called a lot of things ive missed to my attention)

like the og thread, i am not trying to "cancel" dream. the point is to call attention to the problematic shit dream has done/hold him accountable for it and make sure people who were fans like me who were mostly to completely unaware of this know about this.
