My 3rd thread on who else might be involved with the Laurence Fox Party.

Some clues are in the first follows of its new Twitter feed.

My guess is Reclaim will have its first Parliamentarian as soon as the party officially launches in November:

Lady Claire Regina Fox

(thread)
First, the first 14 follows:

Looza
Darren Grimes
Peter Whittle
Titania McGrath
Claire Fox
Calvin Robinson

Journals/ists:
Spiked
The Critic
The Epoch Times
Christopher Hope (Telegraph)
Tim Shipman (Sunday Times)
Harry Cole (Sun)
Tim Montgomery
Julia Hartley-Brewer (talkRADIO)
This thread is going to concentrate on these particular first follows:
When the Telegraph’s Hope broke the story of Looza’s new party, former Revolutionary Communist, Brexit Party MEP, Kremlin apologist and now Lady Fox was the VERY FIRST whose tweet of support Looza retweeted.

Co-incidence?

A foothold in Parliament is quite a prize...
The same for London Assembly member, Brexit Assembly founder, and New Culture Forum (address 55 Tufton Street) founder and director Peter Whittle.

Again, entry to another political institution, plus a research and influence network to boot.
Interestingly, Whittle interviewed Fox on his New Culture Forum YouTube channel ‘SWYSI’ and asked Fox:

“Would you ever think of standing for political office?”

Fox demurred:

“I mean, could you imagine?”

PW “Well yes I could actually, quite easily”

...
LF “I’ve got such a chequered past... I’m quite emotional”

But, pressed, he carried on:

“I’m a big nationalist.”

Watch the full exchange from 22.05.

It aired 7 Aug. Within weeks Fox had certainly changed his mind, deleting all his old tweets 31 Aug

Was this the moment Lozza began to change his mind about entering politics?

Whittle had clearly already decided he had the potential, and for Looza it must have been very seductive to have the approval of the Tufton Street big boys.

This was a serious proposition.
The Critic is where Patrick Barrow - MD of Looza’s PR company - was musing in June of the need for a new Farage-free party to fight the Culture Wars & reclaim the good name of the British Empire.

His posts, & more about ReputationCommunications, can be found in my first thread: https://twitter.com/politicworm/status/1310953494799626240
Whatever sorts of things Looza’s self-confessed “chequered past” might entail, you can be sure his ‘reputation crisis management’ PR company will know what line to take.
(My second thread is about failed Brexit Party candidate Darren Selkus, who was trying to get in touch with Fox with his own proposition of a new Farage-free political party on Aug 22, and who is certainly now on the team, helping with the website) https://twitter.com/politicworm/status/1311671633464229894
Back to the non-journalist Twitter-follows.

Calvin Robinson - former teacher, Defund the BBC champion, campaigner for Don’t Divide Us, senior consultant at Policy Exchange, & vociferous opponent of ‘Marxist’ BLM.

Robinson is a very useful ally to counter charges of racism.
Both Fox & Selkus have been retweeting Robinson a lot recently, and the fact that he has been liking otherwise-little-known Selkus’ posts in return shows that he too is connected to the new party.

Here Robinson criticises Black History Month: https://www.theguardian.com/education/2020/oct/03/teachers-on-black-history-in-the-curriculum
The last of these Twitter follows is of ‘parody’ account Titania McGrath, run by Andrew Doyle - himself also now followed - and Spiked Online, another first follow.

Spiked used to be called Living Marxism, the organ of Claire Fox’s old outfit the Revolutionary Communist Party.
Doyle is another Spiked regular.

It’s a small little world, isn’t it?

I think Doyle played a useful role the day after the original Telegraph scoop, using Titania to release an old photo in the silliest way possible of Looza dressed as an SS Officer.
It’s from an old film, The Last Drop, but still a slightly embarrassing picture for Fox given his new role as Culture War Commander.

Not the sort of photo you would want to resurface at the wrong moment.

How did Doyle get hold of it?

Did he just google “Laurence Fox” & “Nazi”?
Or was he given it, or pointed towards it?

His PR company knows crisis management means getting ahead of the game.

KulturKriegKommander Fox can even play the innocent, as if he had nothing to do with it, and make a joke of it.

Nice work ReputationCommunications

Thanks Andrew
In Looza’s easy-ride interview with Christopher Chope, he reveals not only the identity of his £5 million pound donor - former UKIP & Brexit Party backer Jeremy Hosking - but also that he has been talking with Tory MPs.

Why would they want to help a fledgling rival party?
But running overlapping but separate campaigns that secretly co-ordinate is how Brexit, and the last General Election were won.

As Grimes, Claire Fox, Whittle - and Cummings - all know.

Farage was always too much his own man.

In Fox they have a new and more malleable frontman.
Post-Brexit, attention can now turn to the real enemy.

The enemy within.

We’ll find out more in November but the outline of this repackaged Brexit Party can be traced already.

And the new phase of this hydra-headed Kulturkrieg begins, fronted by our new cuddly Mosley - Fox.
UPDATE:

Looza, appearing again on Whittle’s YouTube channel, just admitted that the final approach that made him decide he would indeed start a new party, was from Jeremy Hosking, the man giving him £5 million backing.

So now we know...
POSTSCRIPT:

The first serious shots fired today.

For those who don’t realise what’s going on, here’s where the idea for his counter-accusations comes from:
Douglas Murray, 52 mins in.

He’s actively looking for legal action to force retractions.

And... https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=t7uqHosIj4s
... and to prove the truth of that, here’s Andrew Doyle popping up to back him up.

They both know exactly what he’s trying to achieve with this stunt.
UPDATE

Already bogged down on the supermarket front, the Murray manoeuvre fails.

Under withering retaliatory fire & suggestions of mental illness, the reputational damage is simply too great.

In the cold morning light Fox sounds the retreat on talkRadio & withdraws his tweets.
Despite waving the white flag, KulturKriegKommander Fox tries to put a brave face on his losses, attempting to claim a moral victory.

Meanwhile, the Siege of Sainsbury’s remains in place, now backed up by Douglas Murray himself.

#KulturKrieg
UPDATE:

Things have now got VERY serious indeed.

Simon Blake is suing for defamation.

He also expresses ‘regret’ for the ‘unnecessary language’ he used.

From the jaws of defeat Fox has snatched his victory.

We’ll see what price he pays for it.
