Hi @neil_mccormick! I've read your Telegraph review of @BLACKPINK #TheAlbum & there are a few things that I wish to address. The tone of the article is xenophobic, disrespectful, & uses a large number of stereotypes. But the thing that I want to address is the factual inaccuracy.
. @neil_mccormick Basic research that can be conducted in a matter of seconds will show you that the average fan of both Blackpink and BTS is an adult. K-pop is not the domain of pre-pubescent children. That is factually incorrect and a damning, xenophobic, ageist stereotype.
. @neil_mccormick Women are not the counterparts of men. They are their own people with their own achievements (as you noted) and it would be nice if journalists would decide not to start every article about Blackpink by talking about men.
. @neil_mccormick Had you taken the professional route and looked for an accurate translation rather than using Google Translate, you would not have posted inaccurate translations in your article and would not mistakenly think they are 'meaningless'.
. @neil_mccormick Your review is rude, dismissive, and demeaning. I don't care whether you like Blackpink or not or whether you enjoyed the album.

But to use Google translations, post inaccurate xenophobic stereotypes, & to start with blatant sexism, is beneath your profession.
. @neil_mccormick In fact, the most basic research - research that would have taken you mere seconds - is the fact that #TheAlbum is actually Blackpink's debut album. You claim in your article that this is their second album. Again, factual inaccuracy.
