Thread - Parallel between the Walls music video and Dark Tower by Stephen King.

In this thread, it's only coincidental. I'm just a huge fan of Stephen King and loved that Walls MV reminds me of one of his book. And I'll only talk about the Door part.

Add - I'm so sorry if my English isn't good, it's not my first language. :)

First, I'll explain what is Dark Tower about. It will be short, because it's extremely complicated book. The genre is Fantasy, Sci-fi, Western and have parallel universe. If you are a SK fan, you should definitely read are least once all the book of Dark Tower.

The story is about the last gunslinger (Roland Deschain) in the Mid-World who have for mission to go to the top of the Dark Tower. He will gain some friends who help him to go through the Tower.

So, (no spoiler) in the second book of Dark Tower, Roland encounter a door with no walls standing alone. When he open the door, he will be projected to New York City like a portal. The thing, he will not by physically there, he will see throught the eyes of a future companion.

I'll only talk about that for now. Because we don't need to talk about the other doors later in the book as it's irrelevant about the music video of Walls.

For the MV of walls, we see at the beginning that it's in a desert place and Louis is walking alone. And we will see a door with no walls and without hesitation he will open the door.

When Louis open the door, he is will be "teleported" to an another place, so in a ballroom. Exactly like Roland, except that Louis is physically there, but it seems that no one really see him in my opinion.

When Roland is "transported" to an another place through the door, he will help the person who have connection with to go to Roland world to help the companion to recover from injuries.

And they will begin to be friends.

I like to see that it could be a small connection about that when he open the door, he is "transported" to a place like in DT, but he will help himself to be happy. It's definitely a reach, but when you read the book, it could make sense hahaha

I know, It's only really a huge coincidence. I don't think they really thought about Dark Tower while doing the video. But I just love to see this kind of coincidence. So that's it. That's the end of the thread. I'm so sorry if it's messy or you don't really understand.
