Yeahhh so it’s actually not enough to simply not say hurtful things. When an organization has caused so much pain and knows it’s still going on and STILL stays silent about it??

If someone you loved was in an abusive relationship and you heard someone else say, “well, the abuser didn’t hurt them last weekend” I truly hope you wouldn’t think of that as real progress.

We are hurting. People I know and love are hurting. I am hurting. You don’t have to have all the answers but your silence shows an absolute lack of care for people who struggle to receive love and care from anywhere else in this world.
