The Narcissist personality, having a centered "I" and fragile Ego that makes easier the resurface of our hidden Shadow.
Months ago I came with the thought that one of the next themes that @BTS_twt could talk about would be the narcissism psychology. The reason why its because this personality is increasing a lot nowadays in the western society due to the SNS, affecting mostly the young generation.
Disclaimer, I'm not specialized on psychology so everything I wrote in this thread regarding the narcissism psychology/narcissist personality is based on my researches which could also have few discrepancies 🙏🙏
1. Narcissism personality

The narcissism personality is characterized by the desire of reaching and maintaining a perfect image of ourselves.

"Perfect image" doesn't that reminds you to "Black Swan" movie, how the main character only seak for perfection?! 🤔
This VCR is from the CB special show, Black Swan Intro, which starts with Jin during Spring Day followed by Hobi in Ego and then we see the world Upside down from young forever. Then the scenes are pure with white feathers, until we see Narcissus painting.
After that, we see distortions in the images and the rewind effect on the VCR like going back in time. Between thw images that follows Narcissus painting we see both Jungkook and Hobi with wings, and an allusion to JK's car accident (Begin short fil), ending with JK's eye 🧐
Some name those with a narcissistic personality as "Real life demons", that's why besises having a centeres Ego, it's also related to the Shadow archetype.

The reason why they're considered as "Real life demons" its because most of them are wounded would that need to be healed.
Could it be that they put Narcissus painting there in purpose?! Making a lot of references to Hobi, JK and his accident as well as the time traveling?! 🤔🧐
2. Types of Narcissistic personality.

There are 2 types of Narcissistic personality:

🔹Overt: The one we see clearly that the only thing they seak is what they can obtain from the relationships.
They lack of empathy, tends to blame others and can't stand criticism.
🔹 Covert: These ones are more difficult to notice since they're very good at hiding things, they make sure to make a great first impression and they mantain their "fragile sense of self" appearance.
* disclaimer having few traits of a Narcissistic personality doesn't mean that you have a narcissistic personality*
3. Reasons behind the narcissist personality

🔹Parents
The fragile sense of sence used to be consequent of parental abuse, not physical but psychological, meaning, when the parents only love the child when this one excells their expectations, thats considered parental abuse.
When the child is already excelling the parents expectations and these ones put the kid on a pedestal, thats also considered parent abuse since they're asking the kid to always overwork him/herself, since its when they're loved the most.
🔹SNS
Nowadays, the narcissistic personality is increasing notably in the western society because of SNS. The SNS are increasing the importance of status in the society and the self importance, seeking for attention, engagements, through likes, comments, followers, views...
3. The social dilemma

This documentary goes along with how nowadays SNS makes narcissistic personality even more popular in the society, giving a good example of a covert narcissist personality through the little girl. https://twitter.com/__Samira7__/status/1312492746578423808
⚠ Spoilers ⚠
The girl posted a picture twice:

1st without filter = only 2 likes
2nd with filters = many comments

Seeing that she barely had engagements she deleted the picture posting another with so many filters that her appearance doesn't come close to the her real image.
But what was important is that she had engagements at the end, good or bad, the main purpose was to get attention from others.
But see, she had to mold herself to be accepted by others, losing herself in the process.

Doesn't this reminds you to @BTS_twt "Fake Love"?!
You don't accept yourself anymore, you're looking for others approvals/validation, seeking for absolute perfection in order to have the most attention possible.
Just like Fake Love and Black Swan, we end up losing our freedom to decided who we're, others are controling that part of us. We become puppets.
4. Phones📱

Nowadays all our information its on our phone, everything we do, who we met, who we talk with, even on SNS everyone can see what we do, where and with who. But its also they way we connect with each other despite the distance.
Our phones have become an extension of ourselves, our diary and a tool of localization like a map.

*if you know you know 🌚🌝*
