What's your favourite Vampire Take? I love love love how Vampires are kind of a shared cultural myth that we've reused and recycled and made a thousand twists on.
I love that Vampires range from "Godlike Being" with Dracula in Castlevania and the antediluvian vampires in V:tM, to the almost-zombie like vampires in other media. I love ancient vampire societies and solitary cursed of the earth vampires. Vampires descended from Cain rule too

I don't really dig the series since I grew out of it but the way the Dresden Files made it so that Dracula-Style vampires are one specific kind of vampire that the wizards leaked all the "rules" for so that people would inherently know how to kill them and it wiped them out owns
The idea that @EvilHatOfficial had to make it so their TTRPG was an in-universe attempt to teach real life humans how to survive against *every* supernatural monster is also the coolest part of that book. Inspired shit.
I love Peter Watt's vampires from the Blindsight series - a forgotten ancient evolutionary predator cousin of ours embeded in the culture memory and with enough remnants of our DNA to allow us to resurrect them. A real solid hard-sci-fi vampire
Yo what about the Legacy of Kain series where Vampires are like, they're these immortal god-kings trapped in a bonkers cycle of time travel and apocalypse and revenge and evolution. That rules
