One side will have majority on Senate floor tmrw. @SenSchumer shd make sure it's his team, move to adjourn til after election. Dems have 47-45 advantage to draw on (assuming Collins + Murkowski don't feel need to help out Mitch). Advantage Dems - will they act like it?

Lots of posturing from McConnell this weekend - but he is desperate to adjourn. @SenSchumer should do whatever McConnell would do were roles reversed.

It's unfathomable how much is on the line right now. Letting this nomination go through undercuts all that Dem leaders purport to hold dear. @SenSchumer - imagine how many lives will be lost on the basis of ACA alone, if Dems believe own rhetoric.

Not hard to message, @SenSchumer - taking a (prob modest) risk to save ACA, health care for millions, inspired by the health practitioners and others who've been risking their wellbeing for months to get us all through this pandemic in the face of Republican irresponsibility.

If @SenSchumer doesn't want to ask his ppl to be in DC tomorrow because scared of COVID- look, I get it. But showing up in PPE and fighting to block SCOTUS nom could save untold lives. Countless doctors, nurses, custodians, etc have put selves at much greater risk for months.
